From Law wiki, the wiki for law researchUnder the Lra (2002) an agreed notice is used to protect an interest in land which is not registerable in its own right, and which is recognized by the owner of the registered title. Under the Lra (1925), this was just called a 'notice'. A notice does not prove that the interest claimed is a valid one, but does protect the priority of that owner of the interest.
