[1957] 1 WLR 582. In an action for medical Negligence, a doctor's professional judgement was called into question. The claimant was able to show that the doctor had made a decision that a substantial body of other doctors would not have made. The Court of Appeal held that his actions were compatible with the general standards and practices of the profession, and the presence of conflicting views was not sufficient to establish a breach in the duty of care.
