Court of Appeal In the U K, the Court of Appeal is an Appelate Court, but not the only one. The Court of Appeal has a Civil Division, for hearing cases referred from the High Court and a Criminal Division for cases referred from the Crown Court on matters of conviction and sentencing Court System Of England. The judges of the Court of Appeal are formally known as ` Lords Justice of Appeal' Lord justice of appeal.
