A convention should be established for consistent article naming. The following are proposed:

  • Cases should be named as "Party v Party (YYYY)", making certain to use a lowercase 'v' and to enclose the four-digit year in parentheses.
  • Other major rulings/laws/acts/etc. which are associated with a date should be named as "The Somesuch Act (YYYY)", making certain to capitalize each word in the name and to enclose the four-digit year in parentheses.
  • All other articles should follow a Wikipedia-like naming convention and be named as "Article about something", making certain to capitalize only the first word in the name.
  • Pages named after persons or places should follow a Wikipedia-like name convention which uses standard capitalization and be named as "House of Lords" and "Charles I of England".
